Well, let's just say I'm close...so close...
My first book, Awaking, is so close to being published. I've received the proof copy of the physical version. I should really read through it to make sure everything looks good--and I'm sure I will. I'm waiting for final proofreading to be done. I've already got the MS formatted for ebooks. I'm getting really, really excited.
Where I'm stalling out now is working on book two (Seeking). It's summer's fault. In a way, summer is so freeing for me because I have fewer obligations. On the other hand, it's so hot...and I'm so easily distracted...
I'm about 20,000 words in to Seeking--approximately 1/3 of the way to a first draft. I really need to get back into the groove soon. It's almost August, and I'm already seeing back-to-school ads...
